Elderly woman killed in Sayler Park crash

SAYLER PARK, OH (FOX19) - Police say an elderly woman has died after a crash Wednesday afternoon in Sayler Park.

The crash occurred just before 12:30 p.m. on Kibby Lane, off of U.S. 50, and involved an SUV and pick up truck.

Two elderly women in the SUV were trapped and had to be extricated.

Police say Patricia Heath, 76, was driving a Honda CR/V eastbound on Route 50 when she made a left turn onto Kibby Lane by the gas station, placing the right side the SUV in the path of a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado being driven by 57-year-old Jack Reincke.  He suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Inez Burns, 82, the front seat passenger in the Honda, was pronounced dead at the scene.  Patricia Heath was taken to University Hospital. Her condition is unknown.

Police say everyone involved in the crash was wearing seatbelts and that alcohol, drugs, or speeding were not a factor.
