RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) – If you're looking for something nice for your home, but don't want to spend a fortune, this is the place to be. Curtain Call has something for every room of your house.
"We have wonderful window treatments, valences, we have lamps, rugs, mirrors," said Angie Furbee, Co-owner of Curtain Call.
The merchandise comes from homeowners who redecorated or downsized...as well as designers and stores with overstock to clear. This is Curtain Call's 15th sale -- giving the public a chance to own higher-end items for less out of pocket.
"Our prices are about 1/8th to 1/10th of the normal retail price and they know that they're getting really nice quality items, most of our things are custom made," Furbee said.
The sale features unique furniture and original artwork at a fraction of the retail price. If you need window treatments, there's a beautiful selection that won't kill your wallet.
"These window treatments are custom made...they're silk, the trim is absolutely gorgeous...a retail value on these, I hate to say it, would be about $8,000 a pair," said Kimberly Dawson, Co-owner of Curtain Call.
Here they are $525 and that includes the hardware.
"These are stunning. They come from one of our residential designers. This is an Asian wedding basket. It would probably retail for $750, here in our store its $275," Dawson showed us.
Each wall sconce is worth $300, but they'll sell for $75 apiece. Pillows start at $6. Bolts of fine fabric are drastically reduced. They've got what you need to jazz up any children's room. Even a way to control a wedding budget.
"There's definitely a little something for everybody," Dawson said.
The sale starts Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Canterbury Shopping Center on Patterson Avenue. All the inventory will be discounted another 30% starting Sunday, March 25th.
