5 students injured in Amelia crash

AMELIA, OH (FOX19) - Five students were injured after a crash Monday morning in Amelia.

It happened around 7:15 a.m. at the intersection of Judd Road and Little Creek Drive.

The crash involved a Honda and a pick up truck. Three students were in one vehicle and two were in another. All of the students were from Amelia High School. Their names have not been released.

One of the students was air lifted to University Hospital with a concussion. The injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

Police say the Honda was trying to make a turn and was hit by the truck.
