LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Neighbors claim they witnessed police brutality. The man who faces four misdemeanors after the March 13 arrest appeared in court Friday and pleaded not guilty.
Timothy Greer is charged with resisting arrest, criminal mischief, trespassing and trafficking. The charges stem from mid-March when police questioned Greer in the Beacher Terrace neighborhood.
Louisville Metro Police arrested the 23-year-old for trafficking marijuana. Greer told WAVE 3 his attorney filed a complaint with LMPD's public integrity unit.
Neighbors recorded the apparent scuffle and claim police used excessive force. LMPD said they took the appropriate action, but they haven't provided any further comment or reaction.
Greer has a lengthy criminal history, including drug charges, robbery and assault. Greer will be back in court May 18th.
