MONROE, OH (FOX19) -

The Butler County bomb squad was called to a Monroe neighborhood Tuesday morning after there was a report of several bombs found.

Monroe Police responded to the 400 block of Hickory Street at around 6:30 a.m. for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers found several suspicious looking items in the street. Police then contacted the Butler County bomb squad.

The bomb squad found 9 items later identified as "Chemical Reaction bombs" and detonated them.
