CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Cincinnati man involved with the beating of a 6-year-old will appear in court Tuesday.
Rondell Clay, 21, is charged with obstructing official business, felonious assault and endangering children. His girlfriend, Paris Patterson, 23, is charged with felonious assault and endangering children.
According to Hamilton County court documents, the boy suffered serious injuries that required hospitalization. He was found to have fluid in his belly as a result of blunt trauma to the abdomen, a swollen lip and multiple bruises. Court records also say the boy had a hand print on his face.
When police came to arrest the couple, Clay hid in an attic, and SWAT had to be called to get him to come out.
Both suspects are being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center on a $20,000 bond.
