A teen that was charged for a 2011 homicide will make his fifth court appearance on Thursday where he will either accept a plea deal or a trial date will be set.
Javion Kirkland, 19, is charged with murder for the death of Alexander Torbert, 33.
Torbert was shot on June 12, 2011 near the intersection of Sturm Street and Warsaw Avenue. He was taken to University Hospital, where he died.
Kirkland was already being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center for felonious assault charges from a separate incident.
