A Bridgetown mother is facing charges after neighbors rescued her two children from wandering in the street.
Jennifer Mounts, 34, is charged with two counts of child endangering.
According to Hamilton County court documents, a 1-year-old girl was found wandering in the middle of Harrison Avenue on Wednesday. A 3-year-old boy was also about to enter the street, and their parents were nowhere to be found. The 3-year-old did not have any clothes on and the 1-year-old was only wearing a diaper and a t-shirt.
Some Good Samaritans noticed the children and got them out of the street and called police, who located the children's mother. Mounts admitted that she had fallen asleep with the door open.
Mounts is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
