CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A 19-year-old has been indicted for several sex crimes that occurred in the area of the University of Cincinnati.
Walter Alexander, 19, was indicted by a Hamilton County grand jury on four counts of sexual imposition, two counts of attempted rape, one count of gross sexual imposition, two counts of burglary and one count of public indecency.
Nine women say they were attacked by Alexander on four different days. According to an arrest report, a victim reported Alexander tried to rape her earlier this month near UC's campus. He's also accused of fondling one woman at the College Conservatory of Music earlier this month.
"The good news is that in the Attempted Rape charges those victims struggled and were able to get away and then through very good police work and investigation he was caught, arrested and now stands indicted today by the Hamilton County Grand Jury," said Julie Wilson, spokeswoman for the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office.
Alexander was being held in the Hamilton County jail, but is now out on bond.
