Metro begins planning for improvements

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Metro is asking the community how they can improve their services.

Metro is holding a series of public meeting to find out what transportation needs exist and how to meet these needs.

"Our goal is to define 'the new Metro' – a customer-driven, sustainable regional transit system. Through surveys, phone interviews and public meetings, we'll map specifically where Metro needs to evolve its routes and service," said Metro CEO and General Manager Terry Garcia Crews. "This planning initiative will help us define how Metro should best allocate its current resources and prepare for the future."

Two meetings were held on Monday, the next meeting will be from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday at Cincinnati State in The Point Room. If you would like more information you can click here to visit Metro's website.
