Cyberbullying workshop Wednesday at Cincinnati State

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Ohio Attorney General Mike Dewine is hosting a cyberbullying workshop Wednesday at Cincinnati State.

Cyberbullying 101 is a one day free workshop that will:

  1. Provide education about the types of bullying, specifically focusing on cyberbullying.
  2. Provide participants with an understanding of the legal implications of cyberbullying, including criminal and civil charges.
  3. Participants will understand policies and practices which address and impact cyberbullying.
  4. Participants will understand promising strategies and interventions when a cyberbullying incident occurs

Dewine says cyberbullying is becoming an everyday occurrence in Ohio schools, and the workshop will provide awareness and education about the implications of bullying.
