City of Hamilton votes to increase presence of speed car

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - Hamilton City Council voted to expand the presence of an unmarked mobile speed vehicle to anywhere within the city limits.

Hamilton Police have placed an unmarked vehicle with a speed camera mounted inside in school zones and parks throughout the city to crack down on speeders. The cameras register the speed of your car and take a picture of your license plate.

On Wednesday, City Council voted 6-1 to move the speed car anywhere inside the city limits for a 6-month trial period.
