CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Sunday, people of the Tri-state took to the streets in gorilla suits.
This was all in effort to raise money and awareness for the preservation of African Mountain Gorillas.
All participants in this 5K race received a gorilla suit.
The race started at 11:00 a.m.
Runners and walkers took off on the course that ran along Cincinnati's outer banks.
The Mountain Gorilla Conservation Fund says that they are dedicated to the preservation and protection of this endangered species.
This unique race began in 2003 in Denver, Colorado.
