COLUMBUS, OH (FOX19) - A local soldier is injured in a suicide bomber attack that killed three Ohio guardsmen.
Three Ohio National Guard soldiers were killed in action on Wednesday.
Officials with the guard say the incident took place on Wednesday in Maimanah, the capital of the Faryab province in northern Afghanistan.
Soldiers with the Columbus-based 37th Infantry Brigade Combat Team were attacked by a suicide bomber.
Officials have identified the men as Captain Nicholas Rozanski, Sgt. First Class Jeffery Rieck and Sgt. First Class Shawn Hannon.
All were from the Columbus area.
One of the wounded soldiers, Pvt. First Class Jacob Williams, is from the Butler County town of Somerville.
