ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - More than 9,000 eggs were hidden for the annual Easter egg hunt at Riverside Park in Anderson Township on Saturday.
Kids searched for the eggs then turned them in for some prizes. The adults even got in on the action during the adult egg scramble. The adults scrambled to gather the eggs, which were filled with gift cards and other prizes from area businesses. The grand prize was his and her watches from Markus Jewelers.
"Turnout is egg-cellent because we have just a beautiful day and we've always had a great turnout when it's rain, snow or shine, but when it's this nice, the numbers always go way up. So this is a pretty spectacular day," said Emily Armstrong.
Organizers say there was more than $7,000 worth of prizes to be given out to participants.
