Bicyclist traveling the world makes his way to the Tri-State

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A British cyclist made his way through the Tri-State on Sunday.

Jason Woodhouse, 25, is traveling in an 18,000 mile race in the World Cycle Racing Grand Tour.

The adventure began in London and takes him through several countries, including the United States. The world class adventure racers will sprint back to London to try to break the current Guinness World Record by circumnavigating the Earth by bicycle as quickly as possible.

Woodhouse says he has met some amazing people along his journey.

"The kindness of strangers has been awesome," said Woodhouse.

Woodhouse is racing to raise awareness of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and to defend ocean wildlife.
