CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
Construction continues on the home in the Miami Bluffs subdivision in Maineville after the groundbreaking in February.
Long-time supporters of St. Jude and former Bengals players bought the first tickets on Tuesday.
"We live in this area, people are involved in what we do so we also give back as much as possible," said former Bengal, Louis Breeden.
He was joined by another former Bengal, Isaac Curtis, showing support for the cause.
"It's so important for people to get involved and to purchase because it is an incredible cause that it goes to," said Breeden.
Representatives from the companies partnering with St. Jude met at the construction site in Maineville for a ceremonial floor signing. FOX19's General Manager Bill Lanesey was there along with reps from Fischer Homes.
"It's just a cause that I think as a company you can get behind. It's something that people from the Tri-State get assistance from but also they help children from all over the US so it's not just limited to the Tri-State, but we know we're helping people from all over," said Stephen Whaley of Fischer Homes.
On Wednesday, FOX19 will team up with St. Jude to sell tickets for the dream home giveaway.
From 4:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., you will have the opportunity to purchase your tickets for a chance to win a new home!
There are only 9,000 tickets available. Call early and beat the crowd.
Ancillary prizes will be given out. That means one out of every 500 tickets will win a prize.
