Ink artists roll into Cincinnati

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - On Wednesday, over 200 people will flood the Hyatt Regency in Cincinnati for the 33 annual National Tattoo Association Convention.

This convention brings the country's top tattoo artists under one roof.

There will be demonstrations, educational and tattoo business-related courses, lectures and visually unique contest.

This event is open to the public, which means you can get a tattoo from the best in the country.

One of the highlighted events is the "Best Tattoo of the Day" contest. Entrants must have received a tattoo from one of the booth's artists that day in order to get into the contest.

This event has proved to be great for Cincinnati's economy as over 900 rooms has been booked by participants.  That means an estimated $270,000 for our city.

The last time the Tattoo Association placed it stamp on Cincinnati was in 2006.
