Need a hug? Head to Fountain Square

If you need a little lunch time pick me up, Xavier has the event for you.

On Friday, April 13, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., stop by Fountain Square to get a free hug from a Xavier student.

The students will hold up signs saying "FREE HUGS" in English and other languages.

Rabbi Abie Ingber says the event isn't a fundraiser or a protest.  Instead, the event is supposed to combat some of the bad vibes associated with Friday the 13th.

Rabbi Ingber says you should look for the students in Xavier t-shirts to avoid any hugging confusion.
