CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Two Tri-State businesses collected electronic devices to be recycled on Saturday.
Whole Foods Market at Rookwood Commons took part in the electronics recycling event in honor of Earth Day. Residents were encouraged to participate by bringing computers, printers, cell phones and more. Televisions were also accepted for a flat fee of $10 with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Keep Cincinnati Beautiful.
College of Mount St. Joseph also accepted items to be recycled at the Community Recycling Day. Recycle Force, a company from Indianapolis, will de-manufacture higher-grade materials such as televisions and computers and wipe hard-drives clean of all data for security purposes.
