Kilgore Police are searching for the man who led them on a chase last night after a routine traffic stop.
Around 11:30 pm, Wednesday, police say they pulled over a white male in a Dodge Dakota pick-up truck at the Kilgore EZ mart.
The driver fled the scene, leading police on a chase through county roads.
The man pulled into a driveway of a home at FM 2276 and Rusk County Road 243, where he left the truck and fled the scene on foot.
DPS Troopers and helicopter, as well as a Kilgore K-9 unit and Rusk County deputies assisted in the pursuit.
The suspect is still on the loose and anyone with information is asked to contact the Kilgore Police Department.
