Norwood police catch drug dealers in the act

NORWOOD, OH (FOX19) - Norwood police arrest two people on drug trafficking charges.

It happened Wednesday on Roseland Mound in Norwood.

Police say the suspects were doing a drug deal while a police cruiser was parked on the street for other business.

A witness saw the suspicious activity and informed the officer.

When he approached the vehicle, the subjects fled but were apprehended at the top of the street.

Police say heroin, crack cocaine, and marijuana were recovered, as well as several hundred dollars in cash.

Ryan "Bam" George of Cincinnati and Anna Sheppard of Norwood were arrested and charged with multiple felonies.

A 16-year-old in the vehicle also fled and was found in a nearby yard.

She was arrested on an open juvenile warrant and charged with Criminal Trespassing.
