(RNN) - "Double Take" is seizing the hotly debated viral video crown from Rebecca Black in what some on the internet are calling the worst song ever.

Hot Problems is a video featuring two high school girls singing slightly out of tune and expressing the problem of being attractive, popular students.

"Hot girls, we have problems too, we're just like you, except we're hot," the two girls kind of speak/sing – and not in harmony.

The sound is a bit of "a hot mess," to coin a popular adolescent phrase.

The video – with more than 1.5 million views and more than 63,000 dislikes – was filmed in the back of a limo.

The two girls told MTV all the attention has been crazy for them, and they are a little surprised their video is the latest internet sensation. They also are reluctant to release their names because of the attention and are only going by Lauren and Drew.

"It was shocking," Drew said to MTV. "It hasn't really sunken in for any of us. The first day it was a joke around the school and then the next day we had friends of friends contacting us."

Laying low might be a wise choice. People harassed and threatened Black to the point where she left school after her video, Friday, became an internet smash.

The two girls told MTV they enjoy writing funny lyrics and songs, and they made the video to share it with their friends.

"I don't think we're going to be the next Adele, but we do really like writing songs and coming up with lyrics," Lauren said. "Who knows? Maybe we'll get into that."

The production company that made the video, Old Bailey Productions, doesn't seem to want to take credit for the hot video.

"Old Bailey Productions did not create any of the audio or lyrics for this video. We produced the video as a favor," reads their YouTube page – followed by a link to buy the single on iTunes.

Sounds more like a first world problem.
