A Massachusetts state trooper is recovering from minor injuries after being dragged by a fleeing motorist early this morning. The vehicle involved in the incident later crashed into a building, but the driver is still at large. Yesterday, a Georgia state trooper was dragged a short distance after a driver drove off during a traffic stop. Authorities there say a man was asked to show his drivers license and proof of insurance, but refused. When the trooper reached into the car to take the keys out of the ignition, the driver took off. Officials say the suspect grabbed the trooper's arm and he was dragged an unspecified distance. Another trooper then fired two shots at the fleeing vehicle. The driver got away.
