Tell, Tom Updates

Remember Giles Williams and Daniel Reynolds? They're the Blue Ash cousins who purchased $700 worth of Jordan Nike basketball shoes from a crooked Internet company called JerseyKicks.Com and PerfectKicks.Com.

Four months later, the guys still don't have the shoes or cash. The shoes they ordered, by the way, turned out to be counterfeits! Nike is investigating.

After we ran our story, The Finish Line stepped up. The Florence-based store let the boys pick out any pair of athletic shoes it sold. Free of charge!

Giles and Daniel each grabbed a pair of Vince Carter Nikes that sell for $150 bucks a pair.

Thanks again to The Finish Line for helping us out!

Meanwhile, more trouble for Tim King. The deceitful sign guy who has a bad habit of taking the money without starting or finishing a job was recently indicted on felony theft in Clermont County. Police say last November, King was paid several hundred dollars for a job he never finished.

Last month, King pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor theft charge in Hamilton County. He spent several days in jail and was forced to pay back the money he took on another sign job he never completed.
