ESPN is reporting Jerome Simpson will be suspended for three games by the NFL.
Simpson was sentenced earlier this month to 15 days in jail and three years' probation after pleading guilty to a felony drug charge in Kentucky.
Simpson played four seasons in Cincinnati but is a free agent.
ESPN reports Simpson has visited the Minnesota Vikings and St. Louis Rams, and still is expected to sign with a team for this season.
