CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is building a new facility.
The clinical sciences building will be located along Sabin Way. The cost is about $180 million, which will be financed operating cash and investments, future operating cash flows and philanthropy.
"This new space will enable us to attract and retain more of the world's top-notch researchers, innovators and clinicians who want to be at the leading edge of discovery," said Michael Fisher, president and CEO of Cincinnati Children's.
The building will add about 425,000 square feet of space to house laboratories, an outpatient clinic and offices for faculty and staff performing research.
Construction is scheduled to begin in June and should be completed in the summer of 2015.
