Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra gets a new music director

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra announced a new music director for the 2013-2014 season.

French conductor Louis Langree will serve as principal conductor and artistic director. He will succeed Paavo Jarvi, who left in May after working with the orchestra for 10 years.

Langree says the quality of the orchestra was one of the major reasons he chose Cincinnati and he hopes to continue to build upon the great tradition of the orchestra.
