White House: Bush says Rice did `terrific job' testifying President Bush says he thinks his national security adviser did a "terrific job" testifying before the Nine-Eleven Commission. A White House spokeswoman says the president and his wife, Laura, watched all three hours of Condoleezza Rice's testimony on television. The couple are at their ranch in Crawford, Texas. The spokeswoman quoted Bush as saying Rice articulated "the responsible actions the administration took before September eleventh and the aggressive actions the administration took after September eleventh." The president began the day by speaking with Russian President Vladimir Putin about Iraq and other issues. Later, Bush roamed his 16-hundred-acre ranch with about 20 representatives of hunting and fishing groups.
