Tebowmania hit Cincinnati Wednesday. The New York Jets quarterback who is not afraid to show his religious devotion on the field spoke and attended a banquet dinner at Cincinnati Christian University in Price Hill.
Tebow's "t-bowing", where he kneels and places his fist to his forehead, has drawn both criticism and praise. "Its hard to stand up for you faith in this world and he's able to do that," said CCU choir member, Leah Claibourne. "There's always going to be haters. People are always going to be criticizing. There's always going to be complaints and people who don't agree but its important to stand strong," said Claibourne.
"I'm all for it. I think he is an amazing man," said Ron Vance who also attended the speech. "Anyone who does anything they believe in, they're going to find criticism. And that's exactly what's happening to him."
The event costs $500 per person with proceeds to benefit Cincinnati Christian University.
