Police charge former employee with Kentucky restaurant manager's death

A man already in custody in Hamilton County, Indiana, on unrelated charges has also been charged with murder in the shooting of a restaurant manager in Kentucky. Former Applebee's restaurant employee David Parsons was already in custody in Hamilton County on a theft charge. Kenton County, Kentucky, police are expected to return Parsons to Kentucky to face the murder charge. Parsons is charged with shooting Mark Smith last April 27th. Smith was shot near the parking lot entrance of the restaurant in Crestview Hills, Kentucky, after it had closed. Smith's widow says he wanted to fire Parsons from his job as a server after customers complained about him.
