CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Center for Closing the Health Gap held its annual Health Expo on Saturday and thousands were expected to attend.
The event opened its doors at 9 a.m. at the Cintas Center. The Center for Closing the Health Gap held the expo to address the issues of health disparities within the African American, Hispanic/Latino and Appalachian communities in the Tri-State.
The Health Expo provided life-saving information, free health screenings and cooking demonstrations. A youth health education session was also held at the event. Chef G. Garvin, host of the Cooking Channel's Georgia Road Trip with G. Garvin was a special guest at the event.
