Firefighters had their hands full with a brush fire Sunday in Agawam.
Lieutenant B. J. Calvi of the Agawam Fire Department tells CBS 3 that calls started to come in about the brush fire just after 3 p.m.
It was located off of Route 57, behind the West Springfield Sportsman's Club.
Calvi said it took firefighters about four hours to contain the blaze, which burned close to 4 acres.
It's the largest brush fire that Agawam has faced this year.
Calvi said high winds and access to the fire made things a bit more difficult.
He also confirmed that no homes were damaged and no firefighters were injured fighting the blaze.
