SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -
A tractor trailer that slipped down an embankment has spilled diesel fuel into a stream in Conway.
The spill occurred Monday afternoon at the intersection of Shelburne Falls Road and Thompson Road. Police say a FedEx truck was driving along Shelburne Falls Road when a deer darted into the road causing the driver to swerve.
Two trees stopped the truck from flipping over. D.E.P. officials expect the clean-up to be completed by 6:00p.m. Monday.
