Traffic stop leads to arrest of two on firearm & drug charges

WAYNESVILLE, OH (FOX19) -

Two Lebanon men are in the Warren County Jail Monday on firearm and drug charges.

Warren County Sheriff's Deputy Philip Green stopped a vehicle on U.S. Route 42 near State Route 73 in Waynesville Sunday around 9:30 p.m.

Deputy Green noticed a pistol shell casing on the passenger seat.

After a search of the vehicle, he found a firearm and substances believed to be marijuana and cocaine.

The firearm was later found to be stolen from West Virginia.

Eddie Jordan and Elliott Rice, both 22, face a number of charges including Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Receiving Stolen Property.
