The Kentucky School Board's Association presented district officials with the "Public Education Achieves in Kentucky" or the PEAK Award at Ockerman Elementary School.
This award was created to focus statewide attention on outstanding public school efforts. The award is aimed specifically at enhancing student's learning skills and promoting the positive impact of public elementary and secondary education.
