Coke and Pepsi both set to launch mid-calorie colas
Say you want a soda -- one that doesn't have the high calorie count or sugar of the regular version, but isn't diet either. Both Coke and PepsiCo say the answer will be on store shelves this summer. Coke is launching a cola it says will have half the sugar, carbs and calories as its flagship brand. It says Coca-Cola C2 will debut in Japan before moving to the U-S. PepsiCo says its own version will be called Pepsi Edge and will debut this summer.
