A Wyoming prosecutor says parishioners of a small-town church took part in a secret ritual where they were stripped, hung upside down and whipped. Platte County Attorney Eric Alden says a Roman Catholic priest from Ohio was seeking sexual gratification. Sixty-seven-year-old Anthony Jablonowski of Waterford, Ohio, pleaded no contest Thursday to a charge of molesting a 17-year-old boy in Wyoming in 1982. He was sentenced to between 15 months and seven years in prison. But defense attorney Dallas Laird says the ritual was strictly religious. He says Jablonowski denies the molestation charge, but pleaded no contest because of his oath. Jablonowski has not been removed from the priesthood, although he can't take part in some activities, such as conducting Mass.
