Tickets, Big Boys and horses...Oh my!

Only one more day until the weekend!

Meteorologist Katy Morgan is predicting near record-breaking heat again today.  Highs will top off in the upper 80s, feeling very muggy under a mostly sunny sky.  There will be a slight chance of thunderstorm today, but most of us should get by dry. Be sure to check out Katy's seven-day forecast for your weekend plans!

As always, Stephanie Woods is here to make your morning commute as painless as possible. She will be keeping you up-to-date on the roads all morning long.

Police in the tri-state are cracking down on unpaid parking tickets, which could possibly cause you to lose your car. Dan Wells will be live downtown with more information.

With the 138th annual Kentucky Derby being only two days away, people in the tri-state are excited about some local ties! Hansen the horse will be making an appearance in the run for the roses and her owners are calling her "the great white hope."

Hansen's majority owner happens to be Dr. Kendall Hansen of Crestview Hills.

Also this morning, we're calling all Big Boys! Frisch's Big Boy is celebrating its founder, David Frisch, and what better way than to hold a Big Boy look alike event! Any customer who visits one of the family restaurants dressed as Big Boy will receive a FREE Big Boy sandwich (and who doesn't like FREE?).

I hope you're having a great start to your day!
