SOUTHBEND, IN - A 2011 Moeller High School grad might be making his debut as quarterback for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish after one QB is injured and the other is arrested.
Andrew Hendrix entered the 2011 season ready to compete for playing time at quarterback, but was later moved to third-string after the season-ending injury of teammate Dayne Crist.
More recently, QB Tommy Reese was arrested early Thursday morning for resisting law enforcement, battery to law enforcement, minor consumption and public intoxication, one of which was a felony charge.
Notre Dame linebacker Carlo Calabrese was also arrested for disorderly conduct.
Both Reese and Calabrese are still in jail.
