Suspect charged with 24 counts of vandalism for removing copper from AC units

HAMILTON COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -

Two suspects have been arrested for vandalizing air conditioning units and removing the copper from the units of a condominium complex.

Police say they saw William Wilson taking the copper in the 3100 block of Preserve Lane around 1:00 a.m. on Thursday.

Wilson fled on foot to his vehicle, but police were able to stop his vehicle. He was taken into custody. His passenger, Danielle Welsh was also taken into custody as she was acting as Wilson's lookout.

Wilson was charged with 24 counts of Vandalism and Criminal Tools. Welsh was charged with 24 counts of Complicity.
