No one hurt in short but crazy chase

FOX19 FOX19

CINCINNATI (FOX19) – No one was hurt but some cars were damaged as part of a car and foot chase Thursday evening in Avondale.

Cincinnati Police officers saw what they believed was a drug deal going down.  There was a short chase that ended up on Ridgeway Avenue a block east of Reading Road, when the three suspects drove up a driveway, then jumped out of the car and ran.

The car was still in gear, and backed down the driveway on its own, hitting a parked car that had children inside.  None of the children were hurt, but the suspects' car kept going toward a police car.  The officer moved to get out of the way, and ended up hitting another police car.  This happened at slow speeds and there was only minor damage.

By the time a FOX19 photographer left the scene, police had caught one of the suspects and were looking for the other two.
