Cincinnati, OH (FOX19) - The rivalry stops - for now. The University of Kentucky and Indiana University will not face each other in basketball next season.
A series that dates back more than 40 years is on hold because the two schools can't agree where to play the game. The Hoosiers want to keep the series on each school's home courts, while the Wildcats have proposed playing at a neutral site. Kentucky's only regular season loss last season was in Bloomington against the Hoosiers.
The Wildcats series with the University of North Carolina will also come to an end next season.
