Cincinnati cleanup nets 352-thousand pounds of trash

The Great American Cleanup in Cincinnati on Saturday was termed a great success, with more than 56-hundred people collecting 352-thousand pounds of trash. The cleanup also netted nearly six-thousand old tires discarded on streets and vacant lots. The number of volunteers at this year's event exceeded last year by nearly 700. A separate cleanup focused on Mill Creek, with 16 volunteers in canoes collecting enough trash to fill a dump truck.
