Chapman Elementary has teamed up with Southpark Mall to raise money for the Kayla Allen Benefit Fund and to celebrate Cinemark's 5 year anniversary this weekend.

During the opening of The Avengers movie this weekend, Southpark Mall is raffling off 4 "one of a kind" Avenger movie posters, all signed by the director. They are also serving "Cake for Kayla" for any donations.

All proceeds will go to the Kayla Allen Benefit Fund.

A ticket booth will be set up on the mall's lower lever, near the escalators that go up to movie court.

The ticket sale times are:

  • Friday, May 4th 10:00am to 10:00pm
  • Saturday, May 5th 10:00am to 10:00pm
  • Sunday, May 6th 10:00am to 8:00pm

Kayla Allen was shot by her father Kevin Allen on April 12th while dining at the Cracker Barrel restaurant in Brook Park, Ohio. During the shooting rampage, Kayla's mother Katherina and younger sister Kerri where fatally wounded. Police fatally shot Kevin Allen as he walked towards the restaurant door.
