PANOLA COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -
Emergency responders are on the scene of a major vehicle accident involving an 18-wheeler in Panola County.
The accident involved an older pick-up truck and the 18-wheeler.
Officials with the Carthage Fire Department say there are injuries in the two-vehicle accident on US 59, south of Carthage, and FM 2517 and that they do not believe at this time there are any fatalities.
Two medical helicopters have landed on the scene. At this time, the extent of injuries is unknown.
The crash was called in to 911 at 1:15 Friday afternoon.
