Suspect arrested with help from K-9

OSGOOD, IN (FOX19) - A suspect has been arrested in Osgood with the help of a police officer and his K-9 partner Heiko.

Heiko located Andrew Hill, 19, after a searching the area for 30 minutes. Hill was arrested for Probation Violation for Theft, Possession of Marijuana and Resisting Law Enforcement.

"Osgood officers and Ripley County deputies did an excellent job by immediately establishing a perimeter to contain the suspect until Heiko and I arrived at the scene," said Tpr. Richey.

Hill was taken to Ripley County Jail where he was treated for a minor bite injury from Heiko.
