Troopers find two meth labs in a hotel room

CARROLL COUNTY, KY (FOX19) -

A meth lab was found by troopers in Gallatin County on Friday morning.

Troopers and deputies from the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office responded the Speedway Inn for complaints of a suspicious smell and discovered two active meth labs in a hotel room. Several ingredients used to make methamphetamine were also found in the room.

The Speedway Inn was temporarily evacuated while the troopers disposed of the labs.

Andrew Jones, 22, Sarah Smith, 21, Tyler Wilson, 21, and Calista Robertson, 22, were charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Defaced Firearm, Possession of Marijuana and Wanton Endangerment in the first degree.

They are all being held at the Carroll County Detention Center. Authorities are leading an ongoing investigation.
