Tuesday News Day!

Good morning!

Hopefully this weather doesn't bog you down with getting your morning started.

Meteorologist Katy Morgan is saying that the rain will be sticking around all morning, but should begin to clear up around 1 p.m. with highs in the mid-70's. For more information, be sure to tune in for current weather updates and a look at your complete 7-day forecast.

With wet roadways and major ramp closures, Stephanie Woods will be bringing her A-game with up-to-date traffic reports to make sure that you safely get to where you need to be on time. Stephanie is live in the studio every 10-15 minutes on our FOX19 Morning News, or you can check out our Traffic Tracker Mobile App.

Breaking news this morning: a shooting on Oak Street has left one person dead. Dan Wells will be live at 4:30 a.m. with the very latest on the investigation.

There are a lot of heavy hearts in the tri-state as it was confirmed yesterday that J.P. Huling, a 2004 Moeller grad, was ambushed by an Afghan police officer and killed. J.P. died from a gunshot wound to the chest and leaves behind his mother, brother and wife. FOX19 is working to bring you the very latest on this tragic story and you can catch more information on the FOX19 Morning News or FOX19.com.

Also, a New York Times Bestseller is in high demand after libraries began pulling it from their shelves. Shades of Grey by E.L. James is considered to be controversial for its racy content and S&M themes. We want to know what you think and want you to be apart of our Rant coming up at 6:30 a.m.

Speaking of public input, The Cincinnati Zoo is asking for your help to name the newest (expected) member of their family - a baby zebra! The zebra is anticipated to arrive any day now, and we will be telling you how you can submit your vote at 6:30 a.m.

Following the zoo babies, here's another story that might bring a smile to your face (literally)! Coming up at 6:35, we'll be giving you a list of the five foods believed to make people happy.

Last but definitely not least, who doesn't want to see our FOX19 Morning News team take it to the court in a friendly (or not-so friendly) game of HORSE? You can check out the FOX19 family picnic event during our 8 a.m. hour!

Now that you've caught up on the news making headlines, it's time for you to get up, get going and enjoy your Tuesday!
