A 97-year-old Dallas-area woman was handcuffed and taken to jail in a squad car for failing to pay a traffic ticket. Now, one of Dolly Kelton's sons is questioning the former finishing-school teacher's treatment by police in the posh Dallas-area community of Highland Park. Highland Park police stopped the woman's car last week for having an expired registration and inspection sticker. They then learned she had an outstanding warrant for failing to pay a traffic ticket. She was in police custody for about two hours before her attorney arrived and she was released on her own recognizance. Her son told The Dallas Morning News the family's real beef "is that no real judgment was displayed" in the incident."
